Alliance of Creative Professionals Takes Shape

What constitutes a creative professional? What value does a creative content producer actually offer the world?

Earlier this year, those questions were gnawing at Jon Schickedanz, a sales and business development professional. A creative talent in his own right, largely in the music field, Schickedanz resolved to come up with a resounding answer to those questions.

Thus far, what’s taken shape is the Alliance of Creative Professionals. To learn more about the group’s creation, goals and other details, check out this news release that I wrote for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce’s Business @ Work newsletter.

Inside Edge PR joined the Chicagoland Chamber in August and has already developed strong connections with an array of members, largely through the monthly Alliance of Creative Professionals meetings.

Just last week, Linda McCauley, an expert in business negotiations and freelance “consigliere,” was the guest speaker at the Alliance’s meeting. Next month, the scheduled speaker, at my invitation, is Craighton Berman. I wrote about Berman last month after seeing his remarkable work at TEDx Midwest.
